October Genre Contest
That’s right! We’ll be hosting a genre contest at Feast of Flesh on October 16-18!
A lot of LARP relies on collaboration; Storytelling, steering, genre and more. We’ve seen some amazing set design come from our players recently and wanted to put you all up to a challenge! Choose a zone in game to bring to life alongside your crew. Family, faith, business, or whatever cause inspires you to create. If you’ve been looking for a sign to get started, it’s now.
While we encourage a group effort, you are more than welcome to genre a space on your own and enter solo!
How to enter:
Coordinate with your group. Decide who is responsible for what to help make planning easier!
Send us an email! Tell us who is on your build crew, what each member is responsible for, and where you plan to build. In order for us to properly judge your set up, we need to know you’re participating.
Set up! You can join us on site at 4pm and start your set up right away. You’ll have time even if you get there a little late, we won’t be judging on Friday night.
Be ready by 3pm. This gives you time during siesta to set up as well! After 3pm we will begin judging. You do not need to be at your space during this time.
Clean up after yourselves. Nothing gets left behind, otherwise this may hurt your score.
**You can be a part of up to 2 different groups. You must actively be participating in creating the genre space in both groups.
What you can win:
Everyone that enters and designs an area earns 20 caps!
There are three chances for you and your friends to win with three different tiered prizes.
Third place: Each member of your team wins 50 caps!
Second place: Each member of your team wins 100 caps!
First place: Your team wins a custom mod just for your crew!
