What is a Street Team?

Hi! It’s me, Bri, the marketing director at Dystopia Rising: New York. The first time I heard about a street team, I was a freshman in high school. I was newly vegetarian and obsessed with bands like The Used, My Chemical Romance, and basically anyone you would see at Bamboozle or Warped Tour. Through those things, I stumbled upon Street Teams. These were something you could sign up for online and where you could get some cool free stuff, learn about special events and concerts, and be more connected with people in the community you loved.

At Dystopia Rising: New York, you can also sign up for the Street Team. As soon as you sign up, you’ll receive Requiem themed assets that you can share, print, and show off! As you get more involved in the Street Team and the community, you will have the ability to rank up and get more perks.

Earning points happens through participation in the community. While we might only see each other once a month, we have the ability to leave a positive impact not only on the other players, but the local communities that surround us.

Leveling Up

You can level up in the Stream Team by earning points! You earn these points by doing various activities and tasks that help our community and Dystopia Rising: New York. To keep track of those points, you just submit a google sheet here for each way you participated in Street Team activities. As the team grows, so will the perks and ways to earn!

Joining level one is as easy as Signing Up Here!

Once you’ve joined the team, within a week you will receive:

  • Access to printable and online materials

    • Fliers, icons to add to profile photos, and more!

  • Street Team emails containing times and places to get involved

  • One time gift of 100 Caps for joining

  • Discord Identification

To reach level 2, you will need to have earned 100 points

Once at level 2 you will receive:

  • Stickers to share

  • Recruit a friend to their first event and receive one (1) free build

  • The ability to host events online or in person with the approval of the DRNY Director team

  • Discount on Requiem swag such as shirts, special event patches, and more

To reach level 3, you will need 300 points

At level 3 you will receive:

  • Pins to share

  • Occasional free swag 

  • Discount code for an event of your choice

How to Earn Points

5 points

  • Share photos of you passing out/postering fliers/stickers

    • Please only place stickers and posters in places that they are allowed

  • Tag us in social media posts (up to 30 points a month)

10 points

  • Attend an online social gathering hosted by any official Dystopia Rising chapter

    • (15 for Dystopia Rising New York)

20 points

  • Donate during any charity event hosted by a Dystopia Rising Chapter

  • Attend a Community Day event for any chapter

  • Bring a new player to game

30 points

  • Attend a Community Day event for Dystopia Rising New York

  • For every recruited player that goes to four (4) games or more, you will earn 30 points
