The Families of Requiem control the politics of the Fold, a territory that stretches from the Great Lakes to Pennsyltucky and Old York. Traditionally a place for criminals and exiles, the Families forged their own enclaves and created the Treaty of the Fold, which binds the various factions of the area under the rule of the High Lord Executioner.

The Treaty of Fold recognizes two kinds of families: Patron and Ward. According to the Treaty of the Fold, there can be up to 13 Patron Families, with each one controlling territory in the Fold. In addition, Ward Families - smaller families who don’t yet qualify as Patron Families - can align themselves under the protection of Patron Families. Currently, there are thirteen Patron Families:

  • The Anastasia Dynasty - Led by Essex Anastasia, the High Lord Executioner, this openly criminal family dominates the politics of Requiem.

  • The Anderson Ambrosios - Led by the Quiet Folk St. Hermes Ambrosios MD, this collection of hospitable Landsmen and folk seek to rekindle the flame of faith in Requiem (note: this is a PC Patron Family).

  • The Boon-Helm Collective - A collection of masked maniacs, cannibals, and torture artists led by a pure blood named Polaris.

  • The Bloodwraiths - A band of Mercenaries lead by the cool headed Ariana Bloodwraith and grown from hard effort.

  • The Brokentooth Clan - The Brokentooth Clan generally dwells in Requiem proper, and thrives upon the trade driven by the town. Their family head is Salt (note: this is a PC Patron Family).

  • The Devils - An alliance of a Diesel Jock clan and long-established group of Natural Ones that enforce the trade routes in and out of town. Their family head is Switch (note: this is a PC Patron Family).

  • The Lonely Streetz - An Old York gang focused on drugs, vice and other carnal pleasures, who expanded into town under the leadership of their Boss, Killmore. (note: this is a PC Patron Family).

  • The Molon Collective - Outsiders, loners, and recluses led by Keres Molon, the Collective possesses a psionic connection to the Gravemind and a drive to “protect” it.

  • The Nostras Dynasty - Information coming soon.

  • The Stevensons - Once multiple separate groups of gatherers, hunters and farmers living in the fold, they are now united under Victor Stevenson.

  • The Tarrarians - This group of “monster strains” as they refer to themselves upkeeps the tunnels under Requiem and is lead by Arkus Tarrarian.

  • The Volkov - Information brokers (or less charitably, spies), the Volkov wear masks like their founder, Seraphis Volkov, when acting in any official capacity.

  • The Zodiac Order - Named for its founder, Zodiac, this family’s mission is its “research.” Unfortunately, their research focuses on the creation and control of the undead.
